About The Artist

Arizona artist Kay Wacker has worked professionally as a graphic designer and illustrator for over twenty years.  Each product of the Joy In The Journey line is an exclusive fine art illustration designed and executed by Kay.

The distinctive feel of the Joy In The Journey product line is inspired both by Kay’s love of the Southwest and her interest in primitive American antiques. Each are reflected in her colorful illustrations and design treatments.

Kay's unique illustrative style is also showcased in a series of wonderful children’s alphabet books about Arizona, New Mexico and California*.

Kay works from her home studio in the Glendale suburb of Phoenix.  Kay and her husband Tim are the proud parents of son Trent and daughters Kara and Kelci.
