Today I am reminded of special memories of my mom.  I am thankful for her unwavering support of my creative pursuits over the years. I can only imagine the horror of discovering me at a very early age painting a "masterpiece" with an open bottle of ink on her brand new sofa.  Mom would laugh when she told the story.  She viewed it as an early indication of my artistic bent.  Much later in life, to both our delight we would work on three children's books together.  Mom the author and I the illustrator. Read more…
